Terms of use
Last updated 11 October 2026.
Short version: this is an independent reference site, and everything on it is free apart from one optional paid service: live mock interviews. It describes application cycles that have already happened, it does not predict yours, and every figure on it should be checked against the program's own website before you spend money on an application.
Who runs it
MatchMyProgram (matchmyprogram.com) is run by a sole proprietorship based in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, India, trading as MatchMyProgram. The contact page says how to reach us. In these terms "we" and "us" mean the operator, and "you" means anyone using the site. You can reach us at hello@matchmyprogram.com.
What this site is
MatchMyProgram collects published statistics about US residency programs and what those programs say on their own websites, and arranges them so an international medical graduate can compare them against their own profile. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or published by the NRMP, ERAS, the AAMC, the ACGME, ECFMG or any residency program, and it does not speak for any of them.
What it is not
It is not advice about your application, and nothing on it, including a mock interview, is a promise of an interview, a ranking, a Match or any other result. The fit score is a way of ordering a long list by what program directors have said matters; it is not a forecast. Programs change their requirements, sometimes without updating their pages. If a figure here and a program's own page disagree, the program's page wins.
Accuracy, and corrections
The data is presented as it was published, and where nothing was published the site says "not reported" rather than guessing. Even so, errors happen. The site is offered as it is, without a warranty of any kind, and the decision to apply anywhere is yours. If you find a mistake, the contact page says how to report it.
Your account and what you save
You do not need an account. If you make one, it stores the list you build and the answers you give so they follow you between devices, and you can export or delete all of it from the account page at any time. What is stored and why is set out on the privacy page. An account is personal; please do not share sign-in codes.
Mock interviews: what you buy
The one paid service is live one-to-one residency mock interviews, sold as plans of 1, 2 or 3 sessions at the prices on the pricing page. Each session is 60 minutes by video call on Zoom or Google Meet: 40 minutes of mock interview and 20 minutes of feedback, followed by a written feedback report within 24 hours. A plan is paid once and does not renew. Nothing physical is sent; the delivery policy explains how sessions are arranged.
Sessions are practice. They are not medical, legal, immigration or career advice, and they are not a promise of any interview, ranking or Match result. Nobody running them acts for any program, match organization or application service. What you decide to say in your real interviews is up to you.
Your CV and personal statement
To prepare your sessions you send us your CV and personal statement. You confirm they are yours to share. We use them only to prepare and run your sessions, show them only to your interviewer, and delete them after the Match, as the privacy page describes. Sessions are not recorded unless you ask for a recording. If you ask before the session, your interviewer records it and sends you the recording.
Conduct during sessions
Please join on time, from a quiet place, and treat your interviewer with courtesy; we do the same. Do not record a session yourself. If you would like a recording, ask before the session and your interviewer will record it and send it to you. Do not share real interview questions you were asked to keep confidential. We may end a session, and it counts as used, if it is used to harass or abuse anyone. A plan is for the person who bought it and cannot be passed on without our agreement.
Payment
Prices are shown in Indian rupees and US dollars. In rupees, payment is by UPI, card or net banking through Razorpay. In US dollars, payment is through PayPal. The price you pay is the one shown when you pay, and nothing is added at checkout. A price change never alters a plan you have already paid for.
Rescheduling, expiry and refunds
- You can reschedule a session free of charge up to 24 hours before it. A session canceled with less notice, or missed, counts as used.
- You can cancel a plan for a full refund within 7 days of paying, only if no session in the plan has taken place. Sessions that have taken place are never refunded.
- Sessions not used by 31 January 2027 expire.
- If we cause a problem (we cancel, your interviewer does not join, or a technical fault on our side stops a session), you choose a new time or a refund for that session.
- If you are charged twice, or charged by mistake, the extra payment is always refunded.
The refund and cancellation policy says how to ask.
Practice with another applicant
What it is. A free way for applicants to find each other and practice mock interviews on Zoom or Google Meet. We do not run the call, we do not record it, and we are not part of it. Zoom and Google Meet have their own terms. You must be 18 or older to use it, and you need an account.
Your details. Use your own real name, specialty and country. Do not pretend to be someone else.
Time slots and bookings. A time slot is free time that you offer. It must be at least 2 hours, you can have up to 5 open at one time, and it must start at least 2 hours from now. Another applicant books a part of it, at least 1 hour, and the rest stays open. A suggested plan is 30 minutes for each person, then 15 minutes of discussion and feedback, and you can agree a different length.
Cancelling is free. You can cancel a booking or a time slot at any time before it ends. There is no penalty and no ban for cancelling. The other person is told.
Be respectful. Be kind and honest in the chat and on the call. Do not harass anyone, share another person's details, ask for money, or use the room to sell anything. Do not record the call unless the other person agrees. You are responsible for the meeting link you share and for what you say on the call.
Safety. You can report or block anyone. A person reads every report. We may remove an account that puts others at risk. We do not check who the other applicants are, so use the same care you would with anyone you meet online. Never share a password, a card number or an ID number.
Practice only. The other person is another applicant, not a program, a coach or an adviser. Their feedback is their own opinion. It is not advice from a residency program and it does not predict interview offers or Match results.
Our part. We run the website. We are not responsible for what another applicant says or does, or for a call that does not happen. We may change or stop the room at any time, and if we do we will try to tell the people who have a booking. Nothing here takes away a right that the law says you cannot give up.
Using the data elsewhere
You are welcome to use what you find here for your own application, to export your own list, and to link to any page. Please do not copy the site's compiled data wholesale into another product, and do not present figures from here as coming from the programs themselves without checking them there first.
Program directors and coordinators
If a figure about your program is wrong, or you would like it removed, say so through the contact page and it will be handled. The site publishes names of program leadership where directories list them, and never publishes staff email addresses.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India decide any dispute about them. If you have a problem, please write to us first; most things are fixed faster that way. Nothing here takes away a consumer right you have where you live.
Changes
These terms may change as the site does; the date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version. A change never alters a plan you have already paid for.
